We represent large and small oil companies, landowners, and public entities on oil and gas litigation matters, including, lease and operating agreement disputes, joint interest accounting matters, product liability claims and regulatory issues. The firm also assists clients in the transactional aspects of the oil and gas industry. The firm has a long-standing reputation for expertise in title work and is well-known for its work on the lease, purchase and sale of producing properties. POTTER MINTON attorneys have years of experience in drafting and negotiating oil and gas leases, producing property acquisitions, assignments, farmout and operating agreements, partnership agreements, surface rights agreements, royalty agreements, oil and gas purchase and transportation agreements and the innumerable other agreements encountered in the oil and gas industry. We are called upon to advise our clients regarding the rights under such agreements, as well as on title questions.

Much of the significant litigation handled by the firm is energy related and we have recovered millions of dollars for clients in these suits.
