In a lender liability suit filed against the First National Bank of Athens, Texas, which involved claims by the plaintiff of millions in damages, a Van Zandt County jury unanimously found no liability on the part of the bank and awarded the plaintiff nothing.

Further, the bank was awarded a judgment for the full amount of its note and the Judge entered an order foreclosing on the property in question.
