Diane V. DeVasto, President Elect of the Smith County Bar Association, Of Counsel Attorney for Potter Minton, and former 12th Court of Appeals Justice, as well as J. Matt Rowan, President of the Smith County Young Lawyers Association and member of Potter Minton, will be representing their respective associations at the 2007 Bar Leaders Conference held in Houston, Texas, July 27-28, 2007. This annual conference brings together local bar association leaders throughout Texas. They participate in leadership training and the planning and promotion of worthwhile projects and programs to further the legal profession s involvement in public service and to improve the legal profession s standing with the public at large.
